Sunday School

Elly Hoogterp-Hurst has been a member of St Andrew's for 13 years. She started teaching Sunday School 8 years ago ,when her daughter was 3 years old and continued at our Sunday school as a teacher until 3 years ago when she was called to be the Sunday School Coordinator. The school uses the Whole People of God on line curriculum and all teachers enjoy the variety and ease of this teaching tool. The Sunday School program at St. Andrew's owes a great deal of gratitude to the amazing teachers and CE committee, that make this Sunday School so special.

With her husband, who also teaches and their daughter and son, she enjoys being part of the St Andrew's Sunday School family.

Junior Youth

The junior youth were involved in our huge party for Celebration Sunday, which included a 100 foot banana split, games, an outdoor carnival and fun for all.  The youth collected shoes for The Mount Carmel Clinic for a program called "Fit Feet on the Street".  The shoes were collected, cleaned and repaired, with the help of Canadian Footwear, so people who needed shoes and boots could receive them in a dignified manner.   The youth re-packaged 140 pairs of shoes for folks in the northend and donated many pairs of socks to Siloam Mission.

The youth are active in their Sunday School classes sharing and discussing issues meaningful to them.  Watch for more events and activities for this group of kids.

Senior Youth

Stay tuned for more information about upcoming youth events TBA!  We will be meeting with the Junior Youth and the Senior Youth to plan activities.
