The Board of St. Andrew’s River Heights United Church
The Board, consisting the Chairs of the nine standing committees, the Past Chair, the Vice-Chair, the Treasurer and the Secretary, meet monthly to manage the local affairs of the church. The nine standing committees that carry out the work of the Board are as follows:
Christian Education
Fellowship and Pastoral Care
Finance
Ministry and Personnel
Nominating
Outreach
Property and Administration
Stewardship
Worship
There are also three Ad Hoc Committees of the Board. They are the Anna Blair Circle, the Greening Group and the St. Andrew’s Foundation.
Each year approximately one-third of the Board members are elected for a three-year term. The Board elects the officers, chair, vice-chair and secretary annually.
A Board of Trustees holds and administers all congregational real property. It consists of three members elected by the Congregation.
